There is a book called the Doll People a great series actually about dolls and keeping the life of living dolls a secret. Anabelle fights to keep it a secret but almost always ends up in Doll State. What is doll state? When you almost let out the secret life of dolls you are frozen in place for 24 hours. Another thing is permanent doll state where you are NO LONGER a living doll. Is Anabelle's aunt in PDS? Or is she still out there somewhere?
This series is amazing and recommended for 4th and 3rd graders.
